Festival Dates Moved Due to Change of Venue

Our 7th Annual Festival venue and dates are changing. Our planned venue, the Silver Theater, is no longer available due to it's roof collapsing under the weight of this year's snowfall. We will now be holding the festival on Saturday, March 11th at the Roxy Theater in Missoula.

Friday, March 3rd at the University of Montana Foreign Language Day

Enriching the lives of Montanans through exposure to other languages and cultures is central to what makes the MICFF tick, and U of M's Foreign Language Day does just that. Join us at 3:00pm at the University of Montana UC Theater for a screening of School of Babel. This acclaimed film that explores what it's like to be young person whose family has moved to a new country. Seen through the eyes of the students at a school dedicated to helping young immigrants learn the language skills they need to be accepted in their new country.

Friday, March 3rd, First Friday at Shakespeare & Company

What could be better than combining a Missoula landmark like Shakespeare & Company with a Missoula event like First Friday?
Screening Times:
6:30pm - 8:00pm: Young children, No Subtitles

Saturday, March 4th at the Missoula Public Library

The learning and fun roll on the next day at the Missoula Public Library's large meeting room. We will be showing a mix of great international films for young children as well a short French film appropriate for all ages

Screening Times:
1:00pm - 2:00pm: Young children, No Subtitles
2:15pm - 2:45pm: Short Film for All Ages
3:00pm - 4:00pm: Young children, No Subtitles

Saturday, March 11th at the Roxy Theater

Join us for the 7th Annual Montana International Children's Film Festival. We will be showing an amazing mix of films from 17 different countries for kids of all ages at the Roxy Theater on Saturday March 11th.

Screening Times:
11:00am - 12:15pm: Young children, No Subtitles
12:30pm - 1:45pm: Young children, No Subtitles
2:00pm - 3:15pm: Children 8 and up, Subtitles
3:30pm - 5:30pm: Children 12 and up, Subtitles

MICFF Bozeman Events

One Great Festival in Two Great Places

We are excited to announce plans to add additional showings of the same great International children’s films through an second festival in Bozeman, Montana! Details and dates forthcoming here and on our Facebook page.

MICFF Screening at the Bozeman Public Library

We will be showing some of our great international children's films at the Bozeman Public Library March 4th, 2017 from 10:00am until 3:00pm as part of our upcoming festival programming in Bozeman, Montana!

Screening Times:
10:00am - 12:00pm: No Subtitles
1:00pm - 3:00pm: Subtitles
